Hi, I’m Jeany!
I’m a new homeschooling Mom of two incredible tiny humans. Over the past year, while being faced with having to go back to work at the end of my maternity leave with my youngest, I found myself tirelessly searching for a childcare program that was in alignment with my families beliefs and core values.
I believe that up until the age of 7, children are meant to learn through play and experiencing everything that life has to offer. I want my children to be free to let their minds take them anywhere they can dream while they feel safe and secure.
I envisioned a program that taught my children about their magical (metaphysical) abilities such as how their body can heal itself, their thoughts become things, and their energetic fields. I want my children to think on a deeper level and feel empowered in themselves.
After realizing that a program like this didn’t exist in my community, I came to the conclusion that I needed to quit my day job and make this happen for my children.
Magical Beings is my way to guarantee that my children can be loved, creative, musical, magical, playful, imaginative, social, and free to be their most authentic and expressive selves.
This is a safe space for children to be their most authentic selves.
When & Where?!
Every Monday & Wednesday from 2:00-5:00pm
Located inside a magical cathedral in the heart of Peterborough, Ontario.

Who is this for?
This is a drop-off childcare program for children of all abilities from ages 4 to 7. This is designed to be utilized as both a homeschool and afterschool program.
Do you follow any type of curriculum?
I sure don’t! Don’t get me wrong, I am all for educating children, but this space is made to enhance the creative parts of our brains only. All lessons will be learned organically and shared through music, stories and play.
What is the cost?
$55/ day when registering for occasional days.
$50/ day when registering for an entire month in advance.
Are you a licensed daycare?
Nope! We are operating as an unlicensed extracurricular program for children. This means we are legally allowed to have more than 5 children under the supervision of a single adult.
Does it include food?
Fresh fruit and other light + healthy snacks will be provided each day. Children are asked to bring a water bottle.
How Can I Register My Child?
In order to keep the program on the small and more intimate side, I ask that parents submit an application to be added to our wait list. After an application is submitted, you will receive a response within 72 hours informing you of our current availability.
