NUTRITIOUS HIBERNATION SNACK RECIPE!
I recently shared my love for going inward and embracing my inner Winter (listen to that podcast episode here!), and right now I am completely embodying it!
I’ve been choosing to be present and letting my body and excitement take me wherever I need to be. I’ve enjoyed jogging in the snow, dancing in the living room (ALOT+LOUD), singing, writing with pen & paper, and playing with my kids.
I’m shedding and recalibrating at a rapid rate and I am feeling completely free from owing anyone anything, accept myself. And THIS is the place to be right now.
I’ve been eating some nutritious & delicious snacks! Lots of baked sweet potatoes, and this gooey, crunchy and sweet nutrient (magnesium + potassium) dense snack!
HIBERNATION SNACK:
Mashed Banana
Coconut Smiles
Chia Seeds
Cocoa Nibs
Pumpkin Seeds
PS. Did you know that women crave chocolate when menstruating because it’s high in magnesium, which supports muscle + cell regeneration?
Two foods that are high in magnesium are pumpkin seeds + cacao nibs. So I’ve added them to this hibernation (menstruation) mix!
